Cyber Security Analyst (Remote – India)

We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security threats and incidents. You will play a key role in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets, ensuring compliance, and implementing best practices in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor network traffic, systems, and applications for potential threats.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Analyze security breaches and recommend preventive measures.

Implement, manage, and update firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.

Respond to incidents, investigate root causes, and provide mitigation strategies.

Maintain SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security policies and procedures are followed.

Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and security technologies.

Prepare security reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.

Technical Skills Required

Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS.

Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, etc.).

Proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, Burp Suite, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of endpoint security solutions.

Understanding of incident response and threat hunting.

Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Industry certifications preferred: CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, OSCP.

1–3 years of experience in a cyber security role (for entry/mid-level).
