Cyber Security Analyst – Remote (India)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and helping protect organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents Perform log analysis across servers, endpoints, and network devices Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures Conduct security assessments and risk analysis Assist in incident response, containment, and recovery activities Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities Maintain security documentation, reports, and incident records Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in Cyber Security / Information Security Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, etc.) Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and Firewalls Knowledge of IDS/IPS, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools Experience in incident response and threat analysis Understanding of common cyber threats such as Malware, Phishing, Ransomware, and DDoS attacks Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows security Familiarity with vulnerability management processes Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, or equivalent Experience with Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS, or similar vulnerability scanners Knowledge of Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK Framework Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
