Cybersecurity Infrastructure Enhancement and Risk Mitigation

Project Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cybersecurity expert to help us enhance our existing cybersecurity infrastructure and develop robust risk mitigation strategies. The project will focus on securing our network, data, and applications from potential cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing a detailed vulnerability assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Security Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive security audit of our existing infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats. Risk Mitigation Plan: Develop and implement a risk mitigation strategy based on the assessment to ensure maximum security. Network Security: Strengthen network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption measures. Data Protection: Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability by implementing robust data encryption, backup, and recovery procedures. Compliance: Ensure that the company’s security policies and protocols comply with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS). Incident Response: Develop an incident response plan for handling cyber threats and breaches, including detailed procedures for recovery and reporting. Security Training: Provide cybersecurity awareness training for internal teams to reduce human error vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

Proven experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and network security. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions, and endpoint protection platforms. Understanding of encryption technologies, VPNs, and secure protocols. Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear, actionable reports.
