Data Scientist – Remote (India)

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Scientist to join our growing Data Science and Artificial Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, SQL, statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, along with the ability to translate complex business problems into practical, data-driven solutions. As a Data Scientist, you will work with large and diverse datasets to uncover insights, develop predictive and machine learning models, conduct experiments, and support intelligent business decision-making. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, analytics, and business teams to take data science solutions from exploration and experimentation through validation and, where applicable, production deployment. This role offers an opportunity to work on challenging real-world problems and contribute to the development of scalable, reliable, and measurable data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze large and complex datasets to identify meaningful trends, patterns, relationships, and opportunities Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to understand business and operational problems Develop, train, validate, and optimize machine learning models Apply appropriate supervised and unsupervised learning techniques based on business requirements Perform feature engineering, feature selection, and model evaluation Build predictive models for forecasting, classification, recommendation, segmentation, and other business use cases Define appropriate evaluation metrics and assess model performance Conduct statistical experiments and support A/B testing where required Develop data pipelines and analytical workflows for model development Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from databases Clean, preprocess, and transform structured and unstructured datasets Communicate analytical findings and model results to technical and non-technical stakeholders Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data availability and quality Work with Software Engineers to integrate data science models into applications and business systems Monitor model performance and identify opportunities for improvement Document datasets, methodologies, experiments, models, assumptions, and results Ensure solutions follow appropriate standards for data quality, privacy, security, and governance Stay current with developments in Machine Learning, AI, Generative AI, and Data Science

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline Strong programming skills in Python Strong proficiency in SQL
