Hiring for a Cloud Security Engineer - AWS in Bangalore/Pune

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Cloud Security Engineers with a strong background in AWS administration for two 6-month contract positions based in Bangalore or Pune. The ideal candidates will have significant experience in managing and securing AWS environments and will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud security and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience. Utilize AWS CLI for efficient management of AWS services and automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform. Operate CI/CD pipeline solutions such as GitHub, managing repositories, branches, commits, pull requests, and issues. Develop and maintain custom scripts using languages like Python to support Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) security policies. Collaborate with service owners to ensure a strong cloud security posture, developing new security capabilities and integrating security controls. Create and maintain technical documentation, identifying opportunities for automation to reduce manual tasks and prevent recurring issues.

Mandatory Skills

Cloud Security AWS Administration (3+ years of experience)

Desired/Secondary Skills

Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) Experience designing, creating, and testing custom policies using Resource Query Language (RQL)

Desired Certifications

Certified Cloud Security Engineer (CCSE) AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C03) AWS Certified Security - Specialty (SCS-C02)

Good to Have Skills

Experience administering and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems Domain: Cybersecurity - Cloud Security (Cyber Design, Cyber Build)
