GCP Cloud Architect Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the organization’s cloud computing strategy, including adoption plans, management, and monitoring Serve as a technical advisor for customers with complex cloud infrastructure and networking challenges Develop and communicate best practices for cloud-based solutions Design cloud environments with a focus on Azure and AWS Plan, design, and deploy complex application workloads on the Google Cloud platform Architect backup and disaster recovery solutions Create reference architectures and technical collateral Provide hands-on leadership for cloud migration and adoption from inception to production Develop enterprise cloud guidelines and automation in compliance with business needs and security best practices Provide mentorship and guidance to implementation teams responsible for delivering and deploying designed architecture

GCP Cloud Architect Required Skills and Experience ==================================================

Experience leading large-scale network migrations to the Google Cloud Platform Experience establishing enterprise-level technical strategy and architecture Experience with scalable networking design, including high availability, redundancy, fail-over, and load balancing Experience with at least one third-party networking product

Experience leading cloud project delivery

Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services such as Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, and/or Cloud Interconnect Knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, etc.) Knowledge of cloud technologies like GCP, API Management, Identity Management, and/or VMware Knowledge of segmentation, encryption, logging, monitoring, and other network security design principles Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
