Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Engage with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate their data migration needs related to MS Dynamics.
Develop and Document Procedures: Create, document, and update system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards to ensure robust and effective data migration.
Oversee Data Migration: Participate actively in the data migration process, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data from existing systems to MS Dynamics.
Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Identify and troubleshoot issues during data migration, offering solutions or alternative methods to address and resolve problems effectively.
Facilitate Communication: Serve as a liaison between end-users, technical IT teams, and business stakeholders throughout the migration process to ensure smooth and clear communication.
Create and Deliver Training: Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they are equipped to use the new system post-migration.
Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews: Perform thorough reviews after implementation to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
Support Strategic Planning: Contribute to achieving operational objectives by providing valuable insights, information, and recommendations during strategic planning and reviews.
Stay Current with Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops and reviewing relevant professional publications.
Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Relevant Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics and data migration projects.
Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with SQL and database structures, and a strong understanding of data migration processes.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a knack for translating complex business needs into functional solutions.
Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
Communication Skills: Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for clear and effective interactions.
Cost-Benefit Analysis: Ability to conduct cost-benefit analyses and develop business cases to support decision-making processes.
Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing professional development to keep abreast of industry trends and advancements.
