We are hiring a skilled Scrum Master to join a dynamic team working with a financial leader. This role is ideal for professionals with 5 to 8 years of experience in Agile delivery, who can lead cross-functional teams, remove blockers, and ensure continuous improvement through Agile principles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Serve as the primary point of contact for Agile-related matters between teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain well-groomed and prioritized product backlogs. Shield the team from outside distractions and ensure sprint goals are achieved. Use Agile metrics to guide continuous improvement efforts. Work closely with Amex technical teams and stakeholders to align deliverables with business objectives. Promote a collaborative and empowered team culture. Foster adoption of Agile best practices across the organization.
Required Skills
5–8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software delivery. Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps). Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proven ability to manage multiple teams or complex initiatives. Experience working with large enterprises or financial services clients is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) Familiarity with Amex work environments or similar financial institutions. Background in software development or QA is an advantage.
