Hiring for Citrix/Wintel SME in Hyderabad

Job Description

We are seeking a Citrix/Wintel SME with 12+ years of experience in Citrix administration, VMware management, and cloud technologies such as Azure or Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Citrix farms, designing and troubleshooting Citrix environments, and providing expert-level solutions in both on-premise and cloud setups.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and troubleshoot Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.x environments across multiple sites and farms. Perform Citrix upgrades and farm migrations, including planning and implementation. Administer Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2019 and Windows Desktop OS (Win 8, Win 10) platforms. Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and maintenance. Manage VMware environments, including performing vMotion and Storage vMotion operations. Ensure proactive monitoring and issue resolution for VMware ESX and related components. Work with Azure/GCP platforms, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. Troubleshoot Citrix-specific issues, such as printers, profiles, and farm configuration. Handle Active Directory administration and Citrix Patch Management. Collaborate with VMware for escalated issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Desired Competencies

Strong expertise in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Deep understanding of Citrix Web Interface, Storefront, and NetScaler. Experience with Load Manager, Resource Manager, and Installation Manager in Citrix. Experience in managing Citrix environments on VMware. Hands-on experience with Azure or Google Cloud. Strong skills in Citrix Roaming profiles, profile streaming, and Citrix Patch Management. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially for P1/P2 incidents. Ability to provide timely RCA/PCA reports to customers.

Qualifications

Certifications in Citrix and VMware are required. Knowledge of TCP/IP and experience with networking devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls. Knowledge of MS Windows, VMware operating systems, and information security techniques. Experience with Dell/HP servers and warranty support. Familiarity with network tools such as Visio and Wireshark. Basic understanding of MS SQL, Oracle databases, and SAN architecture. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
