Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions across our working environments. You will be a key player in ensuring infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure, while also driving continuous improvement. This role demands excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and a strong understanding of industry best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

Cloud Solution Deployment: Work closely with the infrastructure team to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions following best practices. Infrastructure Best Practices: Define, document, and implement best practices and strategies for infrastructure deployment, maintenance, and optimization. Performance & Uptime: Ensure infrastructure performance, uptime, scalability, and high availability across various environments. Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents. Identify root causes, document issues, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Collaboration: Participate in weekly scrums and collaborate with other teams to drive efficiency and scalability in infrastructure. Automation & Scripting: Leverage scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell, PowerShell) to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. Monitoring & Reporting: Proactively monitor infrastructure performance and create reports to ensure the health of the system.

Preferred Skills

Cloud Technology Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud technologies with hands-on experience with cloud providers, preferably Azure. Operating Systems: Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems administration. Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Shell, and PowerShell. DevOps Tools: Experience with GitHub, GitLab, and AzureDevOps for version control, CI/CD, and collaboration. Container Management: Expertise in managing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Cloud Networking: Basic knowledge of cloud networking, including public/private IPs, routing, firewalls, and remote management (e.g., SSH, RDP). Configuration Management: Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or similar cloud deployment tools.

Key Requirements

Experience: 10+ years of overall experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or related roles. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members while being self-motivated and proactive. Communication: Strong communication skills (verbal and written), particularly in documenting solutions, processes, and incidents.

Nice to Have

Certification in Azure or similar cloud technologies. Experience with CI/CD pipeline optimization and management. Experience in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
