Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HANA Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in SAP Converged Cloud and a solid background in cloud-native DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and supporting SAP HANA environments on SAP Converged Cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for SAP HANA Cloud deployments

Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles in SAP Converged Cloud

Ensure high availability, performance, and security of SAP HANA cloud environments

Monitor and troubleshoot SAP Converged Cloud platform issues and perform root cause analysis

Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and patching

Collaborate with SAP development, security, and operations teams to support agile delivery

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in DevOps for SAP HANA or similar cloud-based environments

Strong knowledge of SAP Converged Cloud and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC and configuration tools

Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, Groovy, etc.)

Hands-on with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps

Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration

Deep understanding of cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

Nice to Have

Experience with SAP HANA System Replication, backup, and recovery strategies

SAP certifications related to cloud or infrastructure

Exposure to multi-cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure in conjunction with SAP Cloud)
