Tasks and Responsibilities

Architecture and Solution Design

Analyze integration requirements of IT solutions in collaboration with internal customers and IT teams. Experience in migrating PI/PO interfaces to SAP BTP Integration Suite using the SAP BTP Migration Assessment Tool.

Support and influence SAP integration, API, and data flow architectures, adhering to the API-first approach. Identify and implement performance optimization opportunities. Proactively evaluate new features in SAP Integration Suite, such as Integration Advisor and Trading Partner Management.

Deep understanding of SAP functional areas and overall SAP architecture.

Subject Matter Expertise in SAP Integration

Extensive expertise in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios. Proficient in SAP BTP Integration Suite, including various integration patterns and protocols. Deep knowledge of pre-packaged integration content and effective use of the same. Proven track record in developing enterprise-grade, robust iFlows for SAP and non-SAP systems in both A2A (Application-to-Application) and B2B (Business-to-Business) integrations, covering both asynchronous and synchronous communication.

Proficient in implementing various integration patterns, such as Content-Based Routing, Scatter-Gather, and Splitter.

Expertise in using adapters like HTTP, IDOC, JDBC, File, SOAP, REST, OData, Graph, etc. Expertise in using various mapping types such as Message Mapping, XSLT Mapping, and Groovy Scripts. Knowledge of exception handling mechanisms for integration flows. Deep understanding of Quality of Service concepts such as Guaranteed Delivery, Retry Mechanism, Idempotent Receiver, etc. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues, ensuring solution stability and performance.

Experience in integration message monitoring and logging. Good understanding of Adapter inbound and outbound security configurations. Proficient in Transport Management System usage within Integration Suite. Expertise in Groovy scripts. Experience with IS-API management, including creating API providers, APIs, policies, and API Products. Deep knowledge of API Authorization and Authentication, Access Control, and other policies. Experience with event-driven integrations using Event Mesh technology. Knowledge of Integration Advisor, Integration Advisory Methodology, and Trading Partner Management.

Experience

At least 12+ years in SAP middleware integration, with 5+ years in SAP Integration Suite. Involved in at least 8 to 10 Integration Implementation projects using SAP Integration Suite. Led upgrade and migration projects, especially focusing on SAP Cloud Integration. Ability to create an integration design blueprint for complex projects.

SAP Certification is a plus. Experience with SAP S/4HANA on Cloud deployments or migrations. Leadership experience with teams is a plus.
