Hiring for SAP Consultant - Financial Accounting in India

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with a strong background in financial accounting processes and solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP BTC/TAX, along with hands-on experience in billing processes, FI/CO integration, and various other related areas. This role involves providing support and guidance during project execution, defining technical evaluation criteria, and delivering solutions that meet strategic and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support: Provide support and guidance to business, product, and delivery teams during all project phases including analysis, design, configuration, development, and testing for financial accounting processes and solutions. Technical Evaluation: Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection, and determine technical approaches to ensure coherent system design. Requirement Definition: Partner with business analysts, systems analysts, and engineers to define and review requirements. Solution Delivery: Deliver solutions in collaboration with business users and delivery resources to analyze, design, recommend, plan, develop, and implement solutions that meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements. Billing Experience: Experience with billing B2B, including IDOC and Ariba third-party platform implementation is highly preferred. Experience in invoice form maintenance and development is also a plus. Integration Knowledge: Understand the integration points between New G/L and FI-AR, and have knowledge of CRM systems, CRM-enabled opportunity-to-order processes, and SD pricing. Documentation: Create, maintain, review, and provide guidance on internal documentation for architected solutions. Innovation and Configuration: Contribute to innovative project solutions through development and/or configuration activities. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Cost-Efficient Solutions: Provide cost-efficient, high-quality, client-focused solutions according to established policies, procedures, and processes.

Strongly Preferred

Lockbox and Credit Management: Experience with Lockbox and Credit Management. End-to-End Billing Process: Hands-on experience with the end-to-end billing process. Intercompany Process: Experience working on intercompany processes. FI/CO and SD/MM Integration: Hands-on configuration experience with FI/CO and SD/MM integration. Design Closure: Ability to understand project business requirements and timelines, and drive closure of design issues to meet project go-live. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and effective teamwork in a global company. Flexible Schedule: Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule.

Nice to Have

Solution Manager: Exposure to Solution Manager is an advantage. Tax Systems: Knowledge of interfaces with external tax systems like Taxware. IDOC and ALE: Exposure to IDOC and ALE. ABAP Knowledge: ABAP technical knowledge, especially in writing functional specs for customized reports related to FI-CO processes. FSCM: Experience with FSCM - Collection and Dispute Management.
