Hiring for Storage & Backup Solution Lead in Hyderabad

Responsibilities

As an L3 Infrastructure Storage & Backup Solution Lead with 10-12 years of experience, you will be responsible for:

Managing Storage and Backup platforms across data centers and cloud environments. Performing upgrades for hardware, firmware, and software related to Storage and Backup infrastructure (e.g., Storage appliances, SAN switches, VTL, Backup appliances, Agents, and tools). Participating in disaster recovery exercises and maintaining disaster recovery plans. Demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting Storage, SAN, and Backup issues. Leading architectural reviews, proposing enhancements, and collaborating with Technical SMEs to implement solutions. Coordinating with vendors and customers during hardware, performance issues, and resolving repetitive problems. Handling capacity management, including managing storage usage and forecasting growth. Analyzing performance and recommending improvements. Proposing and implementing both permanent and temporary solutions for problem resolution. Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and documenting RCA-based corrective actions. Developing and maintaining documentation related to installation, administration, maintenance, processes, and resolutions.

Qualifications

You should have

Solid experience in managing remote Storage and Backup operations for on-premises data centers, with mandatory experience in Azure and GCP. Strong experience in Storage solutions across platforms like EMC, Pure, NetApp, and IBM. Hands-on experience with Backup solutions such as Networker and Veeam. Expertise in general Operating System operations (Windows, Linux) for both physical and virtual workloads. Coding knowledge for automating infrastructure using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and Ansible. Experience working in large enterprise environments with governance models. Familiarity with Agile ways of working and Cloud technology (primarily Azure). A proactive approach to taking ownership and driving continuous improvements.
