Junior Java Developer (Remote – India)

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Java Developer who has strong foundational skills in Java programming and is eager to grow in backend development. The role involves building scalable applications, writing clean code, fixing bugs, and collaborating with senior developers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Assist in debugging and resolving technical issues. Work with REST APIs, JSON, and database queries. Collaborate with the development team for new features and improvements. Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading basics. Understanding of Spring / Spring Boot (basic level acceptable). Knowledge of RESTful services and APIs. Familiarity with MySQL / PostgreSQL or any relational database. Basic understanding of version control (Git/GitHub). Good problem-solving and debugging skills. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA

Experience with Microservices (basic concept)

Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Exposure to cloud (AWS/GCP) is a plus Knowledge of build tools (Maven/Gradle)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. 0–1 year of professional experience or good project/internship exposure.
