Junior Network Engineer - Remote (India)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our remote technical team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and supporting network infrastructure while gaining hands-on experience with real-world networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues Support LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network operations Help identify and resolve basic network faults and outages Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records Collaborate with senior network engineers for system upgrades and improvements Ensure network security best practices are followed Provide technical support and basic network-related assistance when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching) Familiarity with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, or similar) is a plus Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools and techniques Basic understanding of network security concepts Good problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Strong communication skills in English

Preferred (Good to Have)

Networking certifications such as CCNA (or pursuing) Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Exposure to Linux/Windows networking environments
