Junior Software Engineer - Remote (India)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This role is perfect for freshers or candidates with minimal experience who want to gain hands-on experience working on real projects in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under supervision. Collaborate with senior developers and team members to resolve bugs and issues. Participate in code reviews and learn best practices. Support the team in daily tasks and project deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent). Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or any other. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Willingness to learn and work in a remote team environment. Good communication skills in English. Self-motivated with problem-solving attitude.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Exposure to version control systems like Git. Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs) Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
