Junior Software Tester - Remote (India)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Junior Software Tester to join our QA team. This role is ideal for candidates eager to start their software testing career by ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of applications before release.

Key Responsibilities

Execute test cases (manual and automated) based on software requirements Identify, document, and report bugs or issues in tracking systems Collaborate with developers and QA leads to resolve defects Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing Review and analyze system specifications and user requirements Prepare detailed test reports and summaries Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation

Required Skills

Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar Basic knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Internship or project experience in software testing Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium (nice to have)
