Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Request/Incident/Change Management

Manage and resolve requests, incidents, and changes related to the Appgate platform.

Event Log Collection and Alerts

Collect and analyze event logs; respond to alerts and incidents.

Security Rules & Access Policies

Proactively calibrate security rules and access policies on the Appgate platform.

Agent Availability

Ensure Appgate agents are available and functioning on endpoints.

Application Access and Troubleshooting

Maintain access to applications and perform application-relevant troubleshooting.

Appgate Cloud and Dashboard

Manage access to Appgate cloud and dashboard.

ITSM Tool Management

Handle ITSM tool availability and access provisions.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure ITSM compliance and generate monthly reports.

Software Upgrades

Support software upgrades and new releases from the Appgate vendor.

User Authentication

Coordinate user authentication processes.

Log Review and Issue Resolution

Review logs for events, issues, alerts, and incidents; determine and implement next steps for resolution.

SOP and Guidelines

Develop and manage SOPs, best practices, and usage guidelines for end users.

Security Controls

Perform control activities to secure Appgate services per client guidelines and sustain IT security controls.

Ticket Trend Analysis

Conduct monthly ticket trend analysis and reporting.

Advanced Troubleshooting

Perform advanced troubleshooting for major outages and changes.

Licensing and Vendor Coordination

Manage Appgate licensing, subscriptions, and coordinate with the vendor.

Configuration Compliance

Ensure configuration compliance; perform testing and QA using client lab facilities.

Product Evaluation

Evaluate product fixes and upgrades in accordance with Appgate vendor guidelines.

Mandatory Skills

Expertise in Appgate. Strong background in Networking. Infra Security skills.

Desired/Secondary Skills

Experience working in scaled Agile teams.

IT and Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, ITIL Foundations, etc. Additional knowledge in Networking.
