Looking for a BMC Helix Remedy Specialist

The Main objective of this role is Design, Development and Enhancement of Remedy applications ensuring that all project deliveries are met and the finished product meets or exceeds the customer’s expectation Also work with stake holders (business and IT Architecture) collaboratively and deliver the design on time without any issues Key responsibilities & accountabilities include technical management and support of the Remedy Applications, identifying the solution path for migration from on-premises solution to Remedy operating in cloud. The Remedy Technical Lead will support the Project Manager in gathering and analyzing requirements, solution design, and execute the migration, while delivering high customer satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong creative, communication, and collaboration skills. ∙ Operational Support, Internal Development, Strategy & Architecture, Infrastructure team, Service Delivery, Service Operations, Quality Assurance ∙ Key programmes and projects are delivered in line with BSS roadmap requirements (time / quality / cost) ∙ Ensure Code Quality checks are done for all Projects and enhancement deliveries ∙ Ensure that all costs provided for Impact analyses are as accurate as possible, stand up to scrutiny, are not over-inflated and where information is not available, sensible assumptions are made and communicated/agreed ∙ Ensure the requirements are discussed, agreed and documented and then the solution offered is clarified and signed off by stakeholders Ensure that ID delivery methodologies are optimised to best meet the needs of the business∙ Must have overall 3-5 years of experience as a BMC Remedy admin and at least 1-2 years of BMC Helix admin experience ∙ Excellent understanding of cloud computing concepts, microservices, docker, containers and Kubernetes ∙ Experience in Dev ops, CI/CD, setting up pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, Python ∙ Must have previous experience in setting up and deploying the containers in Kubernetes clusters. ∙ Experience in deploying BMC Helix on Kubernetes cluster and maintaining environments on azure cloud ∙ Experience with BMC Remedy AR System administration , configuration and code/data migration on helix platform on cloud ∙ Experience in scaling up and down the resources on cloud as required ∙ Good understanding of secured communication between cloud and on prem applications ∙ Must have hands-on experience in Linux/Unix based applications. ∙ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing end-user support.

Mandatory skills*

Must have overall 3-5 years of Remedy (8.x, 9.x and higher, preferably on Helix for atleast 1 year) development, customization, configuration and integration experience ∙Good understanding and experience with leading ITSM/ITOM platform BMC ITSM Helix & Digital Workspace ∙Develop and maintain workflows, forms, templates, and integrations using BMC Remedy Developer Studio. ∙Demonstrate a strong understanding of BMC processes, underlying Remedy framework and architecture including understanding relational databases, core modules, all remedy objects, email engine, various integration methodologies, and Remedy development best practices. ∙Preferred to have worked on SOAP and REST API to integrate with third party applications. ∙Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, AJAX, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, basics of Databases. ∙Good understanding of cloud computing concepts, microservices, containerization and Kubernetes ∙Should have experience in performing data analysis, data migration using Helix data manager and importing/exporting data in the platform. ∙Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BMC Remedy applications, workflows, and integrations. ∙Experience with BMC Remedy AR System administration , configuration and code migration ∙Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing end-user support. ∙Must have worked on complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initiation till deployment and prepare Low level design and best practices development guidelines ∙Exposure in translating customer requirements into system, application, and process designs. ∙Create and maintain documentation for developed applications, workflows, and configurations ∙BMC Remedy Developer and ITIL certifications would be a plus ∙Telecom domain knowledge
