Looking FinOps Consultant who can work with their client having worldwide operations. This position is needed from 1st August and in india.

Role: Principal Consultant / Senior Tech Architect

Core Skills

1. Reporting and Analyzing Reports for Cost, Compliance and Capacity management

2. Establish cloud cost baseline, monitor Cloud spend and track benefits from optimization initiative across CSP’s [AWS and Azure]

3. Present cost optimization ideas to client to ensure maximum efficiency and ROI

4. Experienced in gathering information of as-is state, understand usage, worked on recommendations till optimization realization

6. Develop, maintain and utilize tagging standards to tie cloud usage to business units / cost center IDs / Application System

7. Knowledge of Cloud Billing Models, Reserved Instance, and spot Instances, leverage cost management tooling and define policies to optimize consumption

8. Monthly Governance Presentation with Directors covering Cost, Budget, Usage and Security

Good to have

1. Experience of presenting Quarterly governance of complete program to CxO, CxO-1

2. Experience on Configuring AWS Inspector and guard Duty

3. Leveraging Trusted Advisor, AWS Inspector, AWS Config, AWS Cost Optimizer, Guard Duty, and AWS Organization for Governance role

4. Configuring firewalls, port creations, network and operating system patch update and any other Infra related activity

5. Application and Infra Monitoring related activities

Other skills

1. Extremely Organized with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to contribute to business growth

2. Good pressure handling abilities coupled with technical knowledge and acumen to lead client conversations and justify SME labelling in the chosen area of expertise

3. Ability to work with internal COE teams to understand when to pitch them for relevant conversations based on the stakeholder community that’s interested

Contract Duration :Minimum 2 years Location - India, as it's a long-term contract the candidate is expected to visit office once or twice a week. Client Industry: Manufacturing
