Description

Job descriptions - Project Manager (PM) Project background: Migrate from current AS400 systems to a singular, global instance of Oracle ERP – version 12.1.3. This migration encompasses one primary warehouse, a smaller secondary warehouse, one repair center, and two sales offices. The goal is to create a more unified and efficient system that will better support our company's needs. Please note that Oracle Warehouse Management is not required as part of this project. Job overview: Oracle Project Management Consultant with a strong sense of urgency and ownership to join our team. The selected individual will collaborate closely with the PMO to execute a pivotal Oracle project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution

  • Collaborate with the PMO, assisting in project execution.
  • Develop project plans and ensure they are executed effectively.
  • Coordinate with other project team members in Canada, the US,

and India.

  • Provide daily/weekly project status reports, including leadership

summary PPTs. 2. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Manage stakeholder engagement and maintain stakeholder list.
  • Interact with IT and business teams to facilitate task execution.

3. Change Management

  • Lead change management initiatives, identifying process changes.
  • Work with business teams to identify change agents and coordinate the development of a comprehensive change

management plan.

  • Coordinate the development of a change management plan, which

includes SOP creation, training, and communication. 4. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Coordinate testing execution and provide daily testing summaries.

5. Training & Documentation

  • Facilitate meetings for training planning and follow-ups.
  • Develop a plan to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

and training. 6. Organize meeting and facilitate actions

  • Record meeting notes capturing key points and action items.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge and background of Oracle ERP. Experience in migrating legacy system to Oracle ERP – Mapping Docs, Data Conversion, ERP Implementation etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong self-management abilities, with a pronounced sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate interactions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in scoping, planning, and executing complex projects.
  • PMP certification would be a plus.
