Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to serve as a Power Platform Lead in our team. The role involves leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, with responsibility for managing a team of Power Platform developers. You will be responsible for delivering solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and ensuring optimal performance and scalability of these solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Lead a team of Power Platform developers in the design, development, and deployment of Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven). Configure and customize Dataverse to meet specific business requirements. Develop custom connectors to integrate with external systems and APIs. Design and implement Power Automate flows to automate workflows and streamline operations. Implement security roles and hierarchies to ensure data protection and proper access control. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including exception handling and delegation issues. Optimize Power Platform solutions for performance and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices.

Team Management

Mentor and guide a team of Power Platform developers to enhance their skills. Manage project timelines, assign tasks, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Project Management

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Regularly conduct status reviews and report progress to stakeholders. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

Strong proficiency in Power Platform components: Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse. Experience in developing complex Power Apps with custom connectors and integrations. Expertise in designing Power Automate workflows, including error handling and exception management. Strong understanding of Power Platform security roles and hierarchies. Deep experience in troubleshooting and resolving performance and delegation issues. Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and stored procedures. Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate. Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools. Knowledge of AI Builder and Power Virtual Agents is a plus. Familiarity with Power BI.
