The Senior Ansible Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Ansible automation framework for the organization. This individual will have a deep understanding of Ansible and its capabilities, and will have extensive experience in building and managing complex automation workflows.
Key responsibilities include
Designing and implementing Ansible playbooks and roles to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs. Developing best practices and standards for Ansible usage within the organization. Mentoring and coaching junior team members on Ansible best practices and usage. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Ansible automation scripts and workflows. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in Ansible and related technologies, and evaluating their potential impact on the organization's automation strategy. Working with stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements, and translating those into automation solutions. Participating in the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies to enhance the organization's automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex Ansible automation solutions. They will have deep technical expertise in Ansible, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Ansible Automation certification are a plus.
