Job Details

Provide support to IT and business colleagues throughout project test phases: prepare test environments; co-ordinate test batches; liaise with upstream and downstream application teams; investigate and resolve defects that may be raised. • Contribute towards planning of implementation activities, including data migration where appropriate. • Provide support to the Project Manager helping to define analysis approach in line with the vision of the programme and the methodology of the organisation. • Support key business and operations departments though change period by ensuring new processes modelled and operational readiness tasks are captured and tracked though to sign off. • Interact with Business and development teams globally to develop solutions for the application. • Escalate risks and issues to the WSL IT project manager throughout the project lifecycle. • Team player – able to collaborate easily with colleagues, peers and managers. • Good communication (both written and verbal) – essential to deliver clear documentation. • Influencing skills – capable of providing direction and guidance to teams to better achieve goals. • Strong collaborative skills and experience working across departmental and geographical boundaries. • Experience working in banking or other financial services environment.

(Mandatory Skills)

• Experience with AWS, Windows, Linux and networking • Experience with Oracle MS SQL Server, SQL • Experience with AutoSys, Chef, TeamCity and Jenkins • Ability to work in a matrix managed environment and a proven record of delivery in a collaborative environment.
