Looking for Data Scientist (Remote)

We are hiring a Data Scientist for a project-based role to collaborate on data-intensive projects for our clients in diverse industries such as e-commerce, healthcare, and financial services. The role focuses on leveraging data to build predictive models, optimize decision-making processes, and deliver actionable insights.

The key project you will work on involves creating a predictive analytics model to enhance decision-making for a healthcare provider. Additionally, you will contribute to building a recommendation engine for an e-commerce client and optimizing data workflows for a fintech company.

Key Project Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets from diverse industries to extract insights. Design, develop, and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms. Build and optimize data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables. Develop data visualization dashboards to present findings to clients. Document all processes and ensure reproducibility for future iterations.

Healthcare Predictive Analytics Model

Goal: Predict patient readmissions and optimize care pathways. Tools: Python, TensorFlow, SQL, Power BI. Outcome: A 20% reduction in hospital readmission rates through model insights.

E-Commerce Recommendation Engine

Goal: Build a recommendation system to improve customer retention and sales. Tools: Scikit-learn, PySpark, AWS S3. Outcome: Boosted personalized product recommendations, increasing conversions by 15%.

Fintech Fraud Detection System

Goal: Detect fraudulent transactions in real-time using predictive analytics. Tools: Hadoop, R, Tableau, Google BigQuery. Outcome: Improved fraud detection accuracy by 30%, saving $1M in losses annually.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields. Experience: 2–5 years in data science or related fields, with project-specific experience preferred. Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
