Roles & Responsibility

- Should have hands-on experience with Unix, Data Stage, SQL Server, Design and Architecture,

- Good experience with Prime application knowledge DataStage developer with Unix Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using IBM Info Sphere DataStage on UNIX/Linux platforms.

- Implement data integration solutions that extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into target systems.

- Work with UNIX/Linux operating systems to configure and manage DataStage environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the UNIX/Linux server and DataStage components.

- Create and maintain DataStage jobs to transform data according to business requirements.

- Optimize data transformations for performance and efficiency.

- Implement data quality checks and data cleansing processes within DataStage jobs.

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL pipeline.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of DataStage jobs and UNIX/Linux servers to meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Maintain metadata repositories and data lineage documentation for DataStage jobs.

- Ensure proper documentation of ETL processes.

- Develop error handling mechanisms and logging processes to facilitate debugging and auditing of data integration jobs.
