Looking for FICO Functional Manager in Offshore (Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai)

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Manager to provide expert guidance and oversight across project deliverables, with a strong focus on SAP configurations and best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP implementations, particularly within the retail finance domain, and the ability to coordinate effectively with offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expertise: Provide deep functional expertise throughout the project, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements for future state processes based on extensive SAP configuration knowledge. Configuration & Implementation: Demonstrate hands-on experience with S/4 configurations and actively participate in all phases of project implementation. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers effectively, providing insights, conducting workshops, and creating documentation from business requirements to solutions. Offshore Coordination: Work effectively in an offshore model, coordinating with technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Knowledge Areas

General Ledger (GL) with Transfer Pricing, Inter Company Reconciliation. Vertex integration. Product Costing & Project Systems. Material Ledger. OTC (Order to Cash) and P2P (Procure to Pay) integration. ABAP Understanding: Basic understanding of ABAP and other tools to facilitate effective coordination and troubleshooting. Quality Assurance: Ensure quality deliverables through strong coordination and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum of 14 years of overall experience with at least 12 years in relevant roles. At least 2 to 3 onsite project implementation experiences with hands-on configuration and participation in all project phases.

Skills

Strong customer-facing skills and ability to conduct comprehensive workshops. Expertise in SAP configurations and functional areas like GL, Vertex integration, Product Costing, Project Systems, Material Ledger, and integration processes. Ability to work in an offshore model and coordinate effectively with technical teams. Certifications: SAP Certification is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

Excellent analytical and communication skills. Willingness to work in an extended hours support environment. Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
