Looking for Principal Consultant for Azure Transformation.

is seeking to hire Principal Consultant for Azure Transformation. In this role, the candidate will be working on Azure projects involved in implementing the technical solution components based on the customer requirements. Candidate should have experience in Cloud Assessment & migrating applications from on-premises to Azure Cloud, Transition to Cloud Operations Support involving multiple stakeholders in a multi-vendor scenario. Candidate must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, Databases, Application Development, Analytics) with ability to guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development and internal capability-building.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Infosys offices or be willing to relocate

to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider

three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. we are not able to

• At least 5 to 8 yrs. experience in implementing solutions leveraging Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

services, Cloud Program Management, Transformation & Migrations for Global Customers with 12+ yrs. of experience of hard-core infrastructure consulting

• Adept in implementing, migrating, and managing various Public / Private Clouds, Data Centers, IT

Infrastructure & software environment (Dev, Test & Prod) projects

• Experience in understanding customer’s existing software workloads and ability to define a

transformation roadmap to the Multi-Cloud and/or Hybrid Cloud Environments

• Azure Certification - Solutions Architect –Professional
• In depth knowledge of key Azure services - VM, Storage, Azure SQL, VNet, Redis Cache,

Resource Manager, Azure Diagnostics/ OMS, Traffic Manager, Azure CDN, Azure Notification Hubs, Azure Identity and Access Management, Infrastructure as Code etc.

• Experience in Foundation, Discovery and assessment and migration of Infrastructure
• Develop recommendations for operating model development to implement transformation

initiatives

• Cloud strategy and suitability assessment and definition
• Developing, executing, and improving action plans for large IT Programs
• Strong experience in People and IT Vendor/supplier Management (Datacenter, Cloud, Servers,

Storage)

• Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness within key stakeholders in client org
• Advise and engage with the customer executives on their cloud strategy roadmap and business

case analysis, TCO computations and required presentations.

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and preferably working experience of other Cloud services such as AWS, GCP,

Private Clouds

• Understanding of DevOps and Cloud Industry trends and Azure vs other cloud platform feature

capabilities

• Experience with Programming skills like Terraform / Python/PowerShell will be added advantage
• Exposure to container technology and orchestration platforms - Dockers, Kubernetes will be

added advantage

• Understanding AWS, GCP partner ecosystems
• Built relationships with business partners, cross functional teams, and stakeholders
• Experience in Pre-Sales & Client Solutions - Understanding and responding to RFPs/RFIs
• Experience in Managing delivery in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
