Looking for SAP PS/PM Consultant (Contract) in India

Role Overview

As an SAP PS/PM Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering production support and enhancements for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS). You will act as a primary stakeholder for solution support, manage requirement gathering, and provide functional specifications for customized developments. Your role will also involve working closely with the technical team to ensure effective implementation and documentation of SAP enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PS/PM Expertise

Provide primary support for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS) modules. Deliver production support and manage enhancements related to SAP PS and PM processes.

Technical and Functional Experience

Utilize a strong technical background in SAP PS and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) processes including Master Data Management, Work Order Management, Work Permit Management, Outage Management, Preventive Maintenance, and Field Service Management. Possess working knowledge of mobile applications like Mobile Asset Management.

Integration and Documentation

Demonstrate integration knowledge between SAP PM/PS and other modules such as MM (Materials Management), FICO (Finance and Controlling), and HR (Human Resources). Develop and maintain functional documentation for all SAP enhancements. Provide Functional Specifications to the technical team for any customized developments.

Client Interaction and Requirements Management

Independently manage requirement gathering meetings with clients to understand and document their needs. Ensure that client requirements are accurately translated into functional specifications.

Configuration and Testing

Design, configure, and test SAP PS/PM modules based on client requirements. Work effectively in an S/4HANA environment, with experience in this area being an added advantage.

Mandatory Skills

Extensive experience with SAP PS (Project Systems) and PM (Plant Maintenance) modules. Proven ability to deliver support and enhancements for SAP PS/PM. Strong technical background and experience with SAP PS/PM configuration and testing.

Desired Skills

Knowledge of Mobile Asset Management applications. Familiarity with integration between SAP PM/PS and other modules like MM, FICO, and HR.

Experience working in an S/4HANA environment.

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Experience Required: 7+ years (7-10+ years relevant experience)
