Looking for Technical Manager Offshore (Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai)

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Manager to lead and provide technical expertise for a new S/4 Greenfield Implementation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP, SAP tools and technologies, and a proven track record of managing large data volumes and performance improvements. This role involves leading the Build/Test/Deploy phases, working with multiple streams, and ensuring effective delivery of technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring project deliverables are met effectively. System Design: Identify and design optimal system solutions to enable future state processes. Development: Lead the application development, including hands-on involvement in ABAP and other SAP technologies. Data Migration: Oversee S/4 Data Migration activities for the Greenfield implementation. WRICEF Development: Manage WRICEF development objects (workflow, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms), and work with various streams to define requirements and estimates. Technology Experience: Utilize technical knowledge in OData, ABAP CDS Views, AMDP, Smart Forms, and Adobe development. Integration: Apply diverse technical experience across SAP modules such as SCM, LE, OTC, FIN, manufacturing, EWM, P2P, etc. Effort Estimation: Estimate overall development effort, provide staffing recommendations, and manage development object efforts. Team Management: Lead a team of developers, manage testing, defects, cutover, and deployment activities. Communication: Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders and manage technical aspects of the project efficiently.

Qualifications

Experience

14+ years of overall experience with at least 12 years of relevant experience in SAP development and technical management. Proven experience in S/4 Greenfield Implementations and data migration.

Skills

Strong technical expertise in ABAP, SAP tools, and technologies. Hands-on development experience with WRICEF objects and various SAP modules. Proficiency in OData, ABAP CDS Views, AMDP, Smart Forms, and Adobe. Experience in estimating development efforts and managing technical teams. Certifications: SAP Certification is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work in an extended hours support environment. Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
