Job Description
We are seeking a Screening & Gear Management Specialist to support high-end media screenings, technical reviews, and AV equipment logistics across multiple global offices. This position ensures high-quality screening experiences and oversees gear and content delivery for internal teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a hands-on mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Screening Operations Operate and support daily screenings in dedicated Screening and Review Rooms.
Schedule and coordinate internal and virtual screenings (approx. 15+ weekly).
Manage communications and requests via screening and scheduling platforms.
Review and approve screening requests based on availability and priorities.
Conduct pre-screening checks to ensure optimal audio-visual quality.
Adjust projection and audio systems, including immersive formats (e.g., Dolby Atmos).
Monitor live screenings and resolve any technical issues promptly.
Provide on-site support for color grading and mix review sessions.
Manage and track all screening content, assets, and delivery keys (KDMs).
Collaborate with technical teams for content setup and playback readiness.
Support editorial QC workflows and assist in resolving delivery issues (~20+ per week).
Immersive Device & Content Support Facilitate demos and reviews of immersive media content for internal teams.
Prepare files, devices, and prescription lens kits for scheduled reviews.
Travel between facilities for hands-on support and troubleshooting immersive media systems.
Gear & Equipment Management Handle gear provisioning for remote content reviews.
Respond to gear-related requests and track inventory via ticketing systems.
Deploy and manage hardware/software assets (~12+ weekly).
Maintain projection systems including lens cleaning, lamp replacements, and calibration.
Troubleshoot issues across projection, audio, 3D, and auxiliary systems.
Ensure availability and functionality of accessibility devices (e.g., captioning tools, microphones).
Coordinate repairs and equipment maintenance with vendors when needed.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating digital cinema systems and projection equipment.
Working knowledge of immersive audio formats and AV calibration.
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage scheduling, logistics, and support queues.
Familiarity with media delivery workflows, including content QC and KDMs.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Experience with immersive content platforms is a plus.
