Senior VMware NSX Software Defined Network Specialist in Dallas Texas

Job Deatils

Provide L3 support for our customer’s Software Defined Network deployment based on VMware NSX. Participate in L2/L3 troubleshooting activities, engaging vendor support such as VMware and Redhat. Contribute to the design of LLD documentation, runbooks, policies, and procedures. Utilize experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for cloud-related tasks. Demonstrate strong skills in routing and switching, including network switching and cloud routing. Exhibit proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

Essential Skills Required

VMware NSX-V 6.x and/or NSX-T, vCenter, ESXi 6.x VMware vRealize Network Log Insight VMware vRealize Operations Redhat Linux (knowledge of Ubuntu is a strong plus)

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Proficiency in routing and switching, including network switching and cloud routing Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

Additional Skills

Middleware technologies, such as JBoss, WebSphere, Mulesoft, Tivoli, etc. Automation tools, e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet Scripting or programming experience in Shell and/or Python Experience with HashiCorp tools, e.g., Terraform, GoCD Familiarity with Atlassian tools, e.g., Jira and Confluence Knowledge of Lenovo XClarity and IMM2
