Software Tester – Remote (India)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and software applications Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues Validate bug fixes and ensure successful implementation Perform API testing and basic database validation Maintain testing documentation and quality reports Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and QA discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Hands-on experience in Manual Testing Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps Basic knowledge of API Testing using Postman Understanding of web applications and client-server architecture Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies ISTQB Certification (preferred) Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter
