About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Google Engineer with a strong background in Terraform to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal for our client in the banking sector, where you will leverage your expertise to design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform. You will be instrumental in driving the success of our client's cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of the banking sector. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources. Implement best practices for infrastructure security, monitoring, and disaster recovery. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Conduct regular reviews and updates of infrastructure and Terraform configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and Terraform.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Google Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Terraform. In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture. Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements in a cloud environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate) are a plus.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with clients in the banking or financial services industry. Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
