We're Hiring: UNIX/Linux System Administrator – Hybrid (AWS, Azure | Red Hat, Ubuntu | Metro Cities, India.

We are seeking a skilled UNIX/Linux System Administrator with expertise in managing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS and Azure) and strong experience in Linux system administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating operations, enhancing system performance, implementing security best practices, and supporting production environments in accordance with ITIL processes.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Linux system administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu)
• Strong shell scripting skills (Bash, etc.)
• In-depth understanding of the Linux boot process, filesystems (EXT4, XFS, ZFS)
• SSH key-based authentication and user management

Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS/Azure)

• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Route53
• DNS configuration and management using Route53
• IAM policies and user access control
• Experience managing Linux-based environments in both AWS and Azure
• Infrastructure optimization for high availability and performance

Scripting and Automation

• Automate system operations and deployments using shell scripting
• Implement and maintain automation tools for routine admin tasks

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices across systems
• Perform server and OS patching and upgrades (RHEL 7 to 8/9)
• Remediate vulnerabilities to meet CIS benchmark standards for golden image creation

Process Management & Support

• Adhere to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
• Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticket tracking and resolution
• Provide P1/P2 level support for production environments.
