Built a document-parsing pipeline that extracts equipment records from multiple Word, PDF, and Excel files in a single upload into a SQLite database, replacing manual entry into the application form. Designed rule mining, block and table classifiers, and column and data mappers; added image parsing for equipment part locations and an Excel template for missing mandatory fields that is fed back into the pipeline. Built a RAG chatbot over the application’s help documentation using Qdrant hybrid (dense and sparse) retrieval, BGE-M3, Docling, RRF, and BGE reranking, with a local Qwen 3B model on Ollama.
