I am a BCA graduate from Dayananda Sagar University with a combination of technical knowledge and practical business development experience. I worked as a Business Development Associate at Grow Your Skills in Bengaluru from June 2025 to August 2025, where I gained hands-on experience in business development, client communication, customer relationship management, CRM operations, documentation, and business reporting. When I joined in June 2025, I focused on understanding the company’s products and services, target market, customer requirements, and overall business development process. As I became familiar with the role, I started contributing to identifying market opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting the sales pipeline. My responsibilities also included communicating with clients and prospects through email and phone, understanding their requirements and queries, providing appropriate responses, and following structured escalation and documentation procedures whenever necessary. During July, I became more involved in regular client-handling activities and CRM management. I maintained consistency in the CRM database by auditing and updating customer records regularly, which helped me develop attention to detail and understand the importance of accurate business information. I also learned how to communicate professionally with different types of customers and handle situations in a structured and solution-oriented manner. In August, I focused more on maintaining business activity records and preparing structured weekly reports. I used MS Excel and MS Office to organize raw activity data and convert it into clear and understandable metrics for stakeholders. Through this experience, I developed important skills such as communication, client relationship management, business development, problem-solving, time management, adaptability, documentation, CRM management, data organization, reporting, and attention to detail. Along with my business experience, my BCA background has given me technical skills in Python, C, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, as well as basic knowledge of Angular, data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, networking concepts, Git, VS Code, Windows, and Linux. I have also worked on technical projects including a Flight Fare Prediction project using Python, Linear Regression, and Random Forest, a Medicine Recommendation System using Python, Machine Learning, and NLP, a Coffee Website using HTML and CSS, and a Java-based Currency Converter. Overall, my experience has helped me develop both technical and business-oriented capabilities, allowing me to communicate with customers, understand business requirements, manage information, prepare reports, solve problems, and work with technology. I believe this combination of business development experience and technical knowledge makes me adaptable to roles involving business development, client interaction, customer success, business operations, sales support, and technology-oriented business environments.
