Built a production-grade venue booking engine in Go following strict Clean Architecture (Handler → Service → Repository). Implemented a BookMyShow-style 10-minute temporary slot hold using Redis SET NX with TTL to prevent race conditions during concurrent booking requests. Integrated AWS S3 Presigned URL Architecture (pkg/s3) for direct client-to-cloud image uploads, eliminating server bandwidth bottlenecks. Architected a Shadow Copy Draft System (VenueEditDraft) allowing owners to submit major edits for admin review without corrupting live production data. Designed database transaction bounds (gorm.Transaction) for atomic slot replacement and prepared RabbitMQ event producers for async booking notifications.
