Designed and built a Java backend with Spring Boot using a layered Controller-Service-Repository architecture and DTO-based REST APIs consumed by a React frontend. Modeled relational data with Spring Data JPA (Hibernate) and MySQL, and implemented spaced-repetition scheduling logic to auto-generate revision reminders at 7 defined intervals (Day 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 90). Implemented OTP-based registration and Google OAuth login secured with Spring Security, custom auth interceptors, and hashed access tokens; added centralized CORS configuration. Wrote unit tests with JUnit 5, Mockito, and AssertJ to validate scheduling logic and service-layer behavior; used Spring Boot Actuator for application health monitoring.
