Project Research Scientist-I

Developed U-Net–based retinal layer segmentation models with customized loss function for OCT images, achieving Dice scores above 0.88 across multiple retinal layers. Processed and analyzed 5,000+ OCT B-scans to reconstruct 3D retinal structures and extract clinically relevant biomarkers. Built machine learning models for healthy-versus-diseased eye classification, achieving 85% accuracy and an AUC of 0.87. Designed a privacy-preserving RAG framework using Llama, LangChain, and FAISS for semantic retrieval and question answering over 100+ OCT clinical reports.
