Contributed to an end-to-end BI migration project from IBM Cognos to Power BI, analyzing report architecture, business requirements, SQL logic, data models, and reporting structures. Worked with Snowflake and SQL to collect, analyze, validate, and reconcile data from enterprise reporting sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency, including data cleaning and data manipulation. Developed interactive Power BI using data modeling, table relationships, DAX measures, Power Query, Advanced Editor, Native SQL, and data visualization techniques, including KPI dashboards, while performing statistical analysis. Analyzed existing business logic and SQL queries, replicating validated reporting logic in Power BI during the migration process, incorporating descriptive analytics and predictive analytics. Performed source-to-target data validation, reconciliation, and business logic verification using Excel to ensure accuracy and consistency of migrated reports. Validated Power BI visuals, KPIs, filters, and underlying data against IBM Cognos source reports, resolving data discrepancies.
