Trained a CNN on 87,000+ labeled crop disease images using TensorFlow and Keras — ran multiple training cycles, adjusted layers and dropout until the model stopped misclassifying similar disease types. Wrapped the trained model in a Flask REST API — POST an image, get back JSON with disease name, confidence score, and treatment steps; took a while to sort out TensorFlow dependency conflicts with the Docker base image but got it containerized and running. Deployed to Hugging Face Spaces with a basic mobile-friendly frontend — no install, opens in phone browser, model actually runs on real requests not just locally.
