Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Automation Lead to drive cloud infrastructure automation, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and enforce enterprise-level DevSecOps practices across Azure environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in cloud-native technologies, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of automated infrastructure and cloud-native solutions on Azure.

Develop modular and reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.

Manage and enforce policy controls using tools like Open Policy Agent.

Automate and manage Azure services such as compute, storage, networking, databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, Azure SQL).

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring consistent deployments and rollbacks.

Conduct regular security audits, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Implement monitoring and anomaly detection frameworks for proactive system optimization.

Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams for seamless on-prem to cloud application migrations.

Apply scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate tasks and system configurations.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members and cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven expertise in Azure Cloud Services (CSP Model).

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell. fire Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Packer, and Open Policy Agent.

Solid understanding of shared services (e.g., Identity, Firewalls, Certificates, Secrets).

Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization, and serverless computing.

Extensive experience with cloud migrations, especially on-prem to Azure.

Proficiency in configuring Azure database services like Cosmos DB and Azure SQL.

Demonstrated ability to implement security policies, monitoring frameworks, and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305).

Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with complex architectures.

Familiarity with GitOps and observability platforms (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor).
