Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to lead the migration from the current GCP account to the target GCP account/Landing Zone. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Amex engineers to ensure a smooth transition and optimize GCP architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Migration: Execute the migration process from the current GCP account to the target GCP account. Issue Resolution: Proactively analyze and resolve issues during migration, coordinating with Amex engineers as needed. Architecture Design: Collaborate with Amex engineers to prepare the Target State GCP Architecture. Integration Planning: Identify integration zones for each Amex product and recommend appropriate GCP solutions. Scope and Estimation: Define the scope of work for each integration zone and provide estimates for integrating into the target GCP solution. Project Management: Work with the project manager to prepare the Integration Plan post-migration.
