We're Hiring: Consultant – Linux / AIX Technology Lead Onsite – Wichita, KS, USA

Bizoforce is hiring a Consultant – Linux / AIX Technology Lead for a full-time onsite role in Wichita, Kansas, USA. This is a long-term opportunity (up to 3 years) requiring candidates to be US Citizens only, in accordance with ITAR compliance. We are looking for professionals with 6–8 years of experience in AIX/Linux environments. There is 1 open position, and this requirement is time-sensitive, to be closed within 2 weeks.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in IBM Power Systems, including administration of AIX OS, firmware, HMC, and virtualization technologies. You will also be responsible for monitoring, automation, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills 6–8 years of experience with AIX/Linux system administration.

Proficiency in IBM P-Series hardware, firmware upgrades, and AIX OS installation/configuration.

Expertise in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

Strong knowledge of HMC, LPARs, VIO servers, and system performance tuning.

Capable of independent troubleshooting of hardware/software issues.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA-based service delivery.

Prior experience in ITAR-compliant environments is strongly preferred.
