  • Profile information: professional title, biography, skills, work experience, education, portfolio, profile photo.
  • Resume & documents: files you upload for AI-powered screening and matching.
  • Job postings: job titles, descriptions, requirements, and company details you submit as an employer.
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store raw card data).
  • Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback you send us.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, search queries, clicks, and time spent on the platform.
  • Device & browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: session cookies, preference cookies, and analytics identifiers.

1.3 Information From Third Parties

  • If you sign in via a third-party service (e.g., Google), we receive your name, email, and profile picture from that provider.
  • AI screening results generated by our partner tools when you upload a resume.

  • To create and manage your account and provide platform features.
  • To match developer profiles with relevant job opportunities using AI-powered scoring.
  • To allow employers to discover, evaluate, and contact candidates.
  • To process payments and manage subscription plans.
  • To send transactional emails (application updates, job invitations, password resets).
  • To send platform updates and newsletters (you may opt out at any time).
  • To improve platform features through anonymised analytics and A/B testing.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Employers: Developer profiles marked as publicly listed are visible to verified employers.
  • Developers: Employer company names and job details are shown to registered developers.
  • Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors, email delivery, AI screening partners). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how our platform is used. When you first visit we ask for your consent via the cookie banner. Managing cookies: You can accept or decline optional cookies using the banner at the bottom of the page. You can also delete stored cookies at any time via your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear Browsing Data). Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records, audit logs) or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

7a. GDPR — Users in the EEA & UK

Data Removal Requests

  3. Delete or anonymise your personal data from active systems within 30 days.
  4. Notify any processors (e.g., AI screening partner) to delete the data they hold.
  5. Send written confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Exceptions: We may retain certain data where legally required (e.g., financial transaction records for tax purposes) or where necessary to defend against legal claims.
