Giglancer is an online job board and talent marketplace that connects employers with software developers and technology professionals. We provide tools for posting jobs, applying to positions, managing applications, and AI-powered candidate matching.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • One person may not maintain more than one active account, except where explicitly permitted.

4. Employer Obligations

Employers who post jobs on Giglancer agree to:

  • Post only genuine job openings that reflect actual employment opportunities.
  • Comply with all applicable employment laws and anti-discrimination regulations.
  • Not use candidate data for purposes other than evaluating candidates for the posted role.
  • Respond to applications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Not post misleading, inaccurate, or fraudulent job listings.

5. Developer (Job Seeker) Obligations

Developers using Giglancer agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information in their profile and applications.
  • Not misrepresent qualifications, skills, or experience.
  • Apply only to roles for which they are genuinely interested and qualified.
  • Not use the platform to harvest employer contact information for unsolicited outreach.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
  • Scrape, crawl, or data-mine the platform without prior written consent.
  • Impersonate any person, company, or entity.
  • Post spam, chain letters, or unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on Giglancer — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of Giglancer and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, resumes, job posts) but grant Giglancer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and process that content as necessary to operate the platform.

8. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

9. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Certain features are available through paid subscription plans.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of your plan.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Giglancer does not guarantee that job listings are accurate, that employers will respond to applications, or that use of the platform will result in employment. We do not endorse any employer or candidate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Giglancer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
