Engineered outbound webhook infrastructure from scratch to notify third-party merchants of payment claim events in real time, enabling seamless merchant integration and reducing manual reconciliation overhead. Integrated enterprise SSO platforms (Auth0, WorkOS) to support SAML-based enterprise authentication, improving company-wide auth infrastructure and enabling onboarding of enterprise clients. Integrated Apple Wallet and Google Wallet into the gift card platform using provider-specific APIs, broadening digital payment accessibility and improving end-user checkout experience. Improved bulk file processing pipeline, reducing processing time for 1,000 transactions from ~240 seconds to ~70 seconds (~71% improvement) by removing the IAM account-creation dependency, improving database locking mechanisms implementing batched bulk inserts, and introducing a worker-pool architecture for controlled concurrent processing. Delivered enhancements across IAM, Notifications, and Webhooks services — refactored Go microservices, migrated messaging to gRPC, and added WhatsApp notification delivery, increasing user engagement and message reliability. Developed and tested backend microservices in Go using Gin and GORM; wrote unit tests with Ginkgo, raising code coverage to 95% across critical service paths. Enhanced financial reporting capabilities by building internal finance dashboards tracking key metrics such as net revenue per transaction, gross payment volume, fee breakdowns, and settlement reconciliation — giving finance and leadership teams real-time visibility into company revenue health.
