Independently delivered the Donation COGS Report end-to-end, resolving a critical client blocker caused by Azure Synapse deprecation. Migrated legacy Synapse SQL notebooks to Microsoft Fabric PySpark notebooks using GitHub Copilot (AI), restoring broken pipelines for the client. Analyzed business requirements to identify required Fact and Dimension tables, then designed a clean star-schema data model. Developed Stored Procedures (SPs) for Fact tables and SQL Views for all Dimension tables in SQL Server (SSMS). Connected curated Fabric data to Power BI via the SQL Analytics Endpoint and modeled relationships for reporting. Built and optimized the Power BI report with DAX measures, achieving improved Page Load Time (PLT) and automated dataset refresh. Performed thorough data validation and reconciliation across all sources — report passed 100% validation on delivery. Wrote optimized SQL queries using CTEs, joins, and aggregations for transformations, debugging, and reconciliation.
